Conceptual Cost Modeling

What It Is

With this tool a contractor can quickly generate several options each with 3D images, detailed cost information, and a full development proforma.

Why It’s Better

In the past, a drawing was provided to derive costs of the building. Many assumptions were made during the estimating process to help provide a conceptual cost. With Conceptual Cost Modeling, an accurate cost can be derived based on a provided sketch. It’s faster, more reliable and can also provide life cycle cost analysis, as well as performance and leasing analysis information to an owner.

The Benefit

Significantly reduce rework costs by aligning customer’s needs with the assumptions made by the architect and contractor in the beginning of the process. By having much more information earlier in the project the customer can eliminate much of the guesswork that normally occurs early on and allowing them to not make major financial commitments based on guesswork.
